Photostory: Pandas Basketball defeats UBCO 85-57
The Pandas outscored UBCO in three of the four quarters.
Jumanah ZoudOn January 18, 2025, the University of Alberta Pandas basketball team had a 85-57 victory over the University of British Columbia Okanagan Heat women’s basketball team at the Saville Community Sports Centre.
While the game was close throughout, the Pandas managed to secure a win that moved them to the top of the Canada West Prairie Division. They are now at a 10-2 record.
Jayden Tanner from the Pandas had an impressive performance with a total of 17 points. Reece Hall, also on the Pandas, performed well with 16 points and 14 rebounds.
