Through rain and shine, the Edmonton Drag Festival kicked off Pride Month with amazing performances from local performers and some of Canada's Drag Race's beloved stars.
Leah Hennig Kicking off Pride Month in Edmonton, the Edmonton Drag Festival brought together some of the best performers across Canada for an incredible weekend. Between incredible performances on the main stage there were runway competitions, tea times with queens, and plenty of queer joy.
Among the amazing performers were Canada’s Drag Race performers, from the Queen of the North herself, Brooke Lynn Hytes, to some of the finalists of season six. There were also legendary local drag queens, including Pepper and Karly Klimax. The festival and the performers persevered through wind, rain, and shine to deliver an incredible start to Pride Month.
