Jack.org is hosting “A Night of Expressions: The Good, The Bad, The Truth About Mental Health,” which is focused on showcasing local artists and what mental health means to them. So bring your artsy self over to Dewey’s to enjoy dance performances, spoken word, paintings, and multiple interactive stations. And best of all, something we all need to continue living: food and a free drink. It’s also only $5 which is the same as one overpriced coffee. This one is +18 so you can’t bring your little sister, sorry dude.

Hailed as “the best zombie movie since 28 Days Later,” by The Daily Beast, The Girl with All the Gifts takes place in a world where most of humanity has been transformed into flesh eating “hungries” due to a fungal-outbreak. Humankind’s only chance could be a small group of hybrid children who crave flesh but still have the ability to think and learn. Miss Justineau, a kind teacher, and Dr. Caldwell, quintessential cold-blooded scientist, believe that one of these children, Melanie, holds the cure to the outbreak in her DNA. However, things quickly go awry in the survivor’s fortified stronghold and cliché zombie antics ensue. Luckily, this zombie flick has been described by critics as one that doesn’t keep beating the zombie horse to death but brings something fresh and new to this genre. So grab your squeamish friends, head to any of the listed showtimes and enjoy 111 minutes of creepy children and even creepier zombies.
