Federal election 2025 candidate Q&As: Miles Berry (CPC)

The Gateway agreed to do the interview via email. Berry did not provide answers before the agreed deadline.

This article is part of The Gateway’s Q&A series with the 2025 federal election candidates for the Edmonton Strathcona riding.

Miles Berry is the Conservative Party of Canada’s (CPC) candidate for the Edmonton Strathcona riding in the 2025 federal election.

Berry’s team did not respond to two initial requests for an interview, but replied to the third. Berry was not available for an interview with The Gateway, but The Gateway agreed to provide Berry’s team with the questions and they agreed to a deadline to provide written answers to the questions. The Gateway did not receive Berry’s answers before the given deadline.

According to his LinkedIn, Berry is a registered nurse and alumnus of the University of Alberta. Berry ran as a United Conservative Party (UCP) candidate for Edmonton-Gold Bar in the 2023 provincial election. He lost that election to the Alberta New Democratic Party (NDP) incumbent candidate Marlin Schmidt.

The CPC’s platform and policies can be found on its website.
