Photostory: Theatre Garage’s Reverse Trick-or-Treat

Trick or treat may look different this year, but the spirit is all the same

When Theatre Garage owner Christy Hutchinson realized this year’s Halloween would be more of a trick than a treat, she gathered up some amazing volunteers to bring goodies to the kids in some neighbourhoods around town.

Theatre Garage is a local, female-owned company that sells and rents quality costumes, and on October 10, 17, and 24, this group of witches, hotdogs, and ghostbusters handed out candy bags to little princesses, dragons, and superheroes, all while remaining socially distanced of course. Through this event, Theatre Garage was also able to collect more than 1,120 pounds of food and $1,700 for Edmonton’s Food Bank.

Here are some photos from Theatre Garage’s Reverse Trick-or-Treat.
