Photostory: 2025 BFA Graduate Exhibition at the FAB Gallery

'Strange Currents' features the work of 15 students striving to make their unique voice heard in the art world.

Strange Currents is the culminating work of this year’s University of Alberta bachelor of fine arts (BFA) graduating class. The exhibition features the work of 15 different students, each one communicating their own unique voice.

The exhibit strives to showcase the many different talents of the class, and each piece explores a combination of different mediums. The concept of ‘currents’ permeates the exhibit. The idea of being dynamic, moving through life, and growing and changing is reflected in each distinct piece. Strange Currents is a collection of unique voices making their mark on the art world.

Strange Currents is showing at the Fine Arts Building (FAB) Gallery until April 26.
