Nana AndohOn October 28, the University of Alberta Pandas Basketball team played the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns during Hoopfest at the Saville Community Sports Centre.
In the first quarter, the Pandas led 23-16. The Pronghorns cut into the lead slightly in the second quarter, bringing the score to 32-27 for the Pandas. The Pandas maintained their lead in the third and fourth quarters, holding the Pronghorns to 16 points across the second half. The Pandas won 67-44, finishing the preseason with seven games won, and one game lost.
