The sky is blue. Thin, wispy clouds, barely there, rush to escape from the grey, overcast prison of the east. The sun is shining. It’s an unusually warm week in October following the bitter, premature-anywhere-else-but-Edmonton September snows. Next week the daily highs are expected to drop down to the single digits again. But this morning, the sun shines over campus, countering the brisk morning air with brilliant warm gold. Gold. My shoe is off, my foot is cold. I have a bird I like to hold. And now this weather story is all told. Don’t sue me, Dr. Seuss.
