Photostory: Art on the LRT

You can catch some of these pieces as you travel using the LRT; keep an eye out!

If you ride the LRT you may have noticed the new art installations put up at nearly all the transit stations as of recently. The Edmonton Arts Council’s partnership with Pattison Outdoor Advertising and the Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts presents 41 unique pieces, all by a variety of different artists with developmental disabilities that work with the Nina Collective

The pieces range from a variety of different mediums and subjects, each one bright and exciting to look at. They bring life to our daily travels, but also a sense of excitement and accomplishment to all the artists being able to see their work up across the city, where so many people get to acknowledge their work every day.

You can catch some of these pieces as you travel using the LRT; keep an eye out! They’ll be on display for 24 weeks, starting October 12.
