What: The Rocky Horror Picture Show
When: May 23 at 10:00 p.m.
Where: Metro Cinema
Admission: $19

Experience the decades-old tradition of yelling and throwing things during the Rocky Horror Picture Show! Featuring a full shadow cast performance from the Lowdown Cheap Little Punks, watch the cult classic be skewered through inappropriate jokes and ample prop throwing. Show up in your best Rocky Horror costume and vie for a chance to win the costume contest. And if it’s your first time, don’t forget to draw that “V” on your forehead!

What: Northern Bricks LEGO Convention
When: May 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and May 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Where: Alberta Aviation Museum
Admission: $15

Visit the Northern Bricks LEGO convention for a unique LEGO experience! If you’re a LEGO enthusiast or general enjoyer, come and check out the hundreds of awesome LEGO creations on display. Attend workshops, talks, and building opportunities. You might even walk home with some free LEGO!

What: Irreverence Improv Show
When: May 23 at 7:00 p.m. and May 30 at 8:00 p.m.
Where: Grindstone Theatre
Admission: Student tickets are $14.31

If you love the TV show Severance, then check out Irreverence, a new improv comedy inspired by the hit show. Sorry Not Sorry Improv delves into a new dystopian world every night, creating an absurd, twisted reality. Building on suggestions from the audience, the performers use the lens of speculative fiction to take you on a journey of twists and turns, innies and outies, and fun!

What: Edmonton Riverhawks Home Opener Party
When: May 29 at 7:00 p.m.
Where: RE/MAX Field
Admission: Starts at $10

Kick off the summer with a brand new baseball season! Go and catch the Edmonton Riverhawks face off against the Wenatchee Apple Sox in their home opener. Bring your friends, eat some hot dogs, and enjoy the sunshine as you take in an Edmonton baseball tradition!

What: Edmonton Drag Festival
When: May 29–31
Where: Churchill Square
Admission: Free

Head over to Churchill Square for Edmonton’s annual drag festival! Featuring over 120 performers, the festival will feature comedians, dancers, burlesque, and more. Drag queens from all over Canada and the world will gather to put on a festival for the ages. Whether you’re a hardcore drag race fan or just enjoy a good show, there will be something for everyone!
