What: Big Stuff

Where: The Citadel Theatre
Admission: $40 – $61

Married comedy duo, U of A alumni, Matt Baram (Murdoch Mysteries, Black Mirror) and Naomi Snieckus (Mr. D, Saw 3D), are performing Big Stuff at the Citadel Theatre. Big Stuff is a comedic look at loss. “With quick wit and sharp chemistry, Baram and Snieckus turn life’s big questions into big laughs.”

Where: Edmonton Expo Centre
Admission: $59.50

Toronto indie group, The Beaches are set to play the Edmonton Expo Centre on October 27. Coming off their third release, No Hard Feelings, the band’s new updated setlist is surely something to check out.

What: PitchBlack Dinner in the Dark
When: October 31
Where: Ampersand 27
Admission: $51.72

Ampersand 27 on Whyte ave is celebrating Halloween by turning the lights off and serving some cool food from a “surprise fusion menu.” With no lights, hence the name, a dinner in the dark could definitely make for some interesting memories.

What: Morningside Road
When: October 21 – November 1
Where: The Varscona Theatre
Admission: $25 for students

Morningside Road is a Celtic musical “about family, love, and the pursuit of truth.” As a young girl’s grandmother loses her memory to dementia, the girl looks for life advice from her, and struggles to figure out what is real and what isn’t. And if you go on October 28, it’s two-for-one night

When: Until October 26
Where: Various locations
Admission: $10

Grab a friend and go try a new restaurant during Feed the Soul YEG’s Ten Dolla Deals Dining Week. There’s various locations and meals you can choose from, whether you’re in the mood for something sweet like a donut and a beverage or something more savoury like wonton soup.
