Amanda SparksThe University of Alberta Pandas hockey team have officially ended their 2022-23 conference season. This comes as the Bears hockey team, as well as both Bears and Pandas basketball teams, ended their conference seasons on the same February 10-11 weekend.
To end the season, the Pandas played two games against the University of Manitoba Bisons. On February 10, the Pandas won with a three point lead. However, the next day, February 11, the Bisons won, with a final score of 2-3. Despite the loss in their final game, the Pandas have secured a second place ranking, securing an advantage heading into the CanadaWest finals beginning February 24.
