Students’ Council and General Faculties Council candidates announced

The list of students running for Students’ Council and General Faculties Council positions has been announced. Voting will take place on March 21 and 22. All undergraduates at the University of Alberta can vote.

Students’ Council

Students’ Council consists of 32 student councilors representing 15 faculties. A councilor’s duty is to consult and represent their constituents, while guiding the direction of the Students’ Union as a whole. Councillors meet every second Tuesday to vote on bylaws and policies such as those that determine the Students’ Union’s stance on tuition, deferred maintenance, and other issues.
