What: The Power of the Drum

Produced by the Cuban Movements Dance Company, The Power of the Drum weaves dancing, dance, text, projection, and sound to tell a story that pays homage to the drums while being a celebration of AfroCuban culture.

This show fuses comedic arts and theatre for a performance perfect for the whole family! As a part of Firefly Theatre, this performance features a contortionist, aerialist, acrobats, and so much more!

Where: Citadel Theatre

This theatre performance is produced in association with Tarragon Theatre (Toronto) and the National Arts Centre — Indigenous Theatre. Its plot explores science, culture, and politics when twin white bison are born on a Saskatchewan First Nations ranch.
