Bahamas, Blue Rodeo and many more rock the stage at day three of folk fest

The dreary weather on August 10th did not stop performers from giving an exuberant and uplifting show. Headliners for day three of Folk Fest included Bahamas, Dervish, Hurray for Riff Raff, Bruce Cockburn, and Blue Rodeo. Here are some highlights from day three.

Helen Zhang Bahamas is a Toronto-based guitarist, composer and singer-songwriter. He won the Juno awards for Adult Alternative Album of the Year and Songwriter of the Year in 2015.

Helen Zhang Blue Rodeo is a Canadian country rock band that have amassed global fame. They have released 15 studio albums and won countless Juno awards. They have been inducted into Canadian Music Hall of Fame, received a star on Canada’s Walk of Fame, and been named to the Order of Canada.

Helen Zhang Bruce Cockburn is a Canadian singer-songwriter and guitarist. His career spans over 40 years and he’s been inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame. With the help of journalist Greg King, Bruce has recently released a memoir called Rumors of Glory.
Helen Zhang Hurray for the Riff Raff is an Americana band and was conceived from the mind of singer-songwriter, Alynda Segarra.
