Photos: U of A Oilsands Student Delegation Conference

University of Alberta students recently returned from a two-day conference which aimed to give them a better understanding of Fort McMurray’s oilsands. Taking place from Monday, Nov. 9 to Tuesday, Nov. 10, the conference took a crew of 40 delegates from the U of A to Fort McMurray to interact with the different elements of the oilsands.

The Oilsands Student Delegation, a U of A student group who organizes the annual conference, seeks to educate students on the multifaceted issues regarding the oilsands and offers them an opportunity to interact with stakeholders in oilsands development.
