Alumni

Gateway Alumni Association

The GAA is a union of all students, past and present, who have worked at the Gateway, the student newspaper at the University of Alberta. It’s run by a volunteer Executive Committee, supported by the Office of Alumni Affairs at the U of A. All former paid staff of the newspaper are members of the Association, as well as any former Gateway volunteer who had more than 5 contributions to the paper.

Check out the GAA website. We are also always more than happy to get alumni involved in current Gateway events or simply hear from them and listen to their stories about their times at the paper. If you are a Gateway alumni or know of one who would like to be involved or tell their story, please email the .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or give them a call at (780) 492-5168.

The latest alumni newsletter can be found here.
