Playlist: The winter blues

Embracing the winter months, I find solace in the melancholic tunes that accompany the season. While that may seem odd, I genuinely believe there is an undeniable allure in pairing the winter’s gloom with sombre music. 

Though winter blues are not typically sought after during the colder months, I personally enjoy melancholic melodies. I find them comforting while navigating the grey campus paths or looking through the frosted LRT windows. 

With 25 songs from various genres, the playlist starts with Phoebe Bridgers’ “Waiting Room,” establishing its mood with a gentle guitar and poignant vocals. It concludes with one of my favourites, “April Come She Will” by Simon & Garfunkel, conveying the eventual end of winter and the arrival of warmer spring days.
