In an open letter to the provincial minister of Advanced Education & Technology, the Engineering Students' Society at the University of Alberta has supported the implementation of tuition market modifiers to solve the $60-million University deficit.

Reactor shutdown may intensify medical isotope deficit

Canada’s medical isotope shortage could be exacerbated in April when all five major international reactors will be shut down.

The Canadian National Research Universal Reactor and a reactor in the Netherlands together produce between 60 to 80 per cent of the world’s supply of medical isotopes, and both are now be shut down simultaneously.

On the evening of March 12, an employee of a business in SUB reported their belongings had been stolen from a back office. Campus 5-0 reviewed video footage of the area and observed of a male stealing the employee’s belongings. The recording was forwarded to EPS who are still investigating.
