Week Four: Dustin

Summary week ... the day that I’ve been dreading. I have not gained any weight, which is great. I was terrified that I was going to step on the scale only to find that I had blossomed during the last month. Unfortunately, I didn’t lose any weight this month either. I’m hoping that the embarrassment of having to admit that, coupled with the shame of seeing my fellow Freshman 15 contributors looking great, will be the push that I need to take this more seriously.

I’ve been plagued by snacking while doing homework, and a hectic schedule that I’ve been using as an excuse for not exercising enough. Unfortunately, the old “I will work out later” excuse doesn’t add up to pounds shed; I’ll have to step up and work hard to get myself back on track. I feel that not only have I let myself down, but I’ve also let down my teammates, who I know have been working really hard since we began. Hopefully, I won’t have to write such a humiliating post come next summary week.
